Rural Data Management Services (RDMS), part of the AxisTech Group (AxisTech Rural Pty Ltd, ABN 34 689 173 957), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where they apply to us.
What we collect
When you contact us through this website, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, your property or business name, your state, the type of enquiry, and your message. If you email or call us, we collect whatever information is in that correspondence. Our website host and database provider may also collect standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, as part of operating the site securely.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide and improve our services, and stay in contact with you about work you have asked us about. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your personal information.
How it is stored and who can see it
Enquiries submitted through this site are stored in our database provider (Supabase) and are accessible only to authorised people within RDMS and the AxisTech Group. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us run our business (such as hosting and database providers), and where required or authorised by law.
Your information is stored and processed in Australia (our database is hosted in the Sydney region).
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us at ruraldata@axistech.co. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
